Triathlon

Last Friday Nga Rakau team did a triathlon. I choose to present my reflection on go animate.

God art

This is the god of building and his name is Thor. 


I made it with pastel and dye

I used black pastel for the outline.

Egyptian Cartouche

A cartouche is a nameplate that was put onto king and queens coffins.
They use pitctures as their language. I used and dye to make it.

Rata Tree Art

This tree is called a Rata tree and we saw it at camp.
It is called a Rata tree because it has vines that strangle trees.
I painted the tree with water colours.

Dirt Bike

At  the dirt bike track a guy called Trent  was doing rakes down the hill of

dirt. When  he was coming down the hill of dirt his back traction  control got jammed

because he didn't  clean  his dirt bike much.  His friends came  with  a shovel  

and dug  his  back wheel out  of the hole .  After  he got out of the hole he went  for another ride. He did  a wheelie down the same hill that he got stuck in but this time he did not get

stuck. He rode his dirt bike home  and got some lunch.  He sat on the couch and watch tv.

I see off roading karts driving through the bushes   

crunching the rocks with there  big fat  shaped tires .

I hear roaring engines driving down the gravel track

I smell diesel drifting closer

I taste toxic air

I feel the ground moving as they drive down the track

I  think it is the people that live at the end of the track that drive their off road karts everyday I wish I was one of them

In one month I am going to a show. It is in Taupo and people from my dads work are going. it is  called the toll show. there are big pools with giant floating balls and you  have to go in it and go round and round in circles. there are slides and bouncey castles and there are games that you have to  jump  and  you have velcro stuck to you. You have to get stuck to the other part of velcro. I am going to stay there for about  two nights and I am going to look at shops as well. I like going to shows  because thay are fun and exciting. When I get there the first  ride I am going on is the velcro thing and for lunch I think I am getting a  kebab.
